Philippe Farhat Biography

Philippe Farhat is a Lebanese contemporary artist. He received his interior design degree from Lebanese university in 2009 and his Plastic arts degree in 2016. Philippe practiced teaching profession in several academies with students from different ages and backgrounds. He is currently teaching in Prunus Academy, CAMM Fashion Academy and in Zouk Municipality. His other profession is in interior design, he designed over 80 different projects across Lebanon and Kuwait (houses, restaurants…etc). His main passion and most valuable work is being done in his atelier where there are no limits. Philippe participated in more than 25 group exhibitions since 2002 and 3 solo ones (Zaman Gallery, Lebanese University, Beit al Hirafi). All his artworks came from accumulations and experiences related to society and humanity and its reflections as he see it from his perspective. His works are not unified with a specific material, he uses different materials according to the expressive needs of the topics and artworks he does.
